Countdown

Dear Aunt Alice,

In less than two weeks, I'll be in Mukinge Hill. It's crazy to think about that as I sit, cozy under my afghan in my chair with several inches of snow just outside my window. In less than two weeks, my jeans and hoodie will be replaced with a t-shirt and long skirt. The journey that took you weeks will take me mere days (and will include a three day stay in NC). I leave home on January 19, leave the country on January 22 and will arrive in Zambia on January 23 (my adorable nephew's fourth birthday!).

I just hope I packed enough bug spray... =)
