Apparently, Bogie and I just missed out on the snow!! We made it safely to North Carolina where we'll be staying for a few days before heading to Zambia. While here, I'll be learning about the field and the mission board with which I'll be serving.
It's gorgeous here - can't imagine how much more beautiful it would be in the spring, summer and fall!!
Saying goodbye to Mom and Dad was a little harder than I expected. No tears, but I had to just walk through security and not look back. I will miss them more than I care to say, but I know that I am exactly where I need to be.
